Hi! My name is Mateusz, and I’m a passionate angler originally from Poland, now living in the UK for over a decade. Fishing has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I grew up casting lines in the rivers and lakes of eastern Poland, and now I explore everything from British canals to large gravel pits and wild rivers. My favourite species? Definitely carp, pike, and barbel – but I’ll chase anything with fins! This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned, where I’ve fished, and how I continue to improve as an angler.
