Hi! My name is Mateusz, and I’m a passionate angler originally from Poland, now living in the UK for over a decade.

Fishing has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I grew up casting lines in the rivers and lakes of eastern Poland, and now I explore everything from British canals to large gravel pits and wild rivers. My favourite species? Definitely carp, pike, and barbel – but I’ll chase anything with fins!

This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned, where I’ve fished, and how I continue to improve as an angler. I’m especially into testing gear, mixing up baits, and finding hidden gems across the UK. You’ll find reports, tips, maps, and maybe even some fails – because that’s part of fishing too.
